Statutory Declaration under the RTI Act 2005
According to the RTI Act 2005 Dr Saikat Mondal, Teacher-in-charge, of Derozio Memorial College, Rajarhat. Website: https://dmc.ac.in hereby declares that the college is affiliated to the West Bengal State University and aided by the Govt. of West Bengal. The College has formed the RTI Cell on 01.07.2021 with a SPIO and an Appellate authority. The college has a Governing Body, IQAC and various academic, administrative committees including the Finance committee. The College functions according to the rules and regulations made by the West Bengal State University and Govt. of West Bengal from time to time. The institutions is a "Grant-in-Aid" College; All financial transactions of the college are audited by auditors recommended by the Director of Public Instructions, Education Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal. The college conducts Internal audits on a regular basis.
Till date, following information have been provided, in response to RTI applications
1. RTI application filed in 2021 seeking information whether teachers of the college have undertaken any other employment and commitment including private tuitions
2. RTI application filed in 2023 seeking information on joining of Assistant Professors in various subjects since 01.01.2010.
